First Sports, then breakfast

According to a research, even if you eat high calorie and high fat food, the exercise done in the morning when you are hungry decreases the effects of what you have eaten.

For this research, Belgian scientists made an agreement with 28 healthy and active young people for this research. They applied a bad form of diet to them which was 50% fatty and 30 % more calorie than normally they consumed. Some of the subjects were not allowed to do sports during the experiment. The remaining were separated into two sports groups. Both groups had to follow a very tiring sports program. The subjects were running at a very tiring pace in the mornings four days a week and also they were cycling. The two sessions lasted 90 minutes each and the other two sessions lasted1 hour each. All the activities of the two groups were observed in order for them to consume equal amount of energy. There was a difference between their morning routines. One of the groups were having a heavy, carbohydrate rich breakfast before sports , whereas, the other group had the same  breakfast after the sports, drank only water while doing sports.

The experiment lasted six weeks. Of course, the group that did not follow any sports exercises grew a few more sizes. Each of them gained at least 3 kilos. Besides, they had resistance to insulin, their muscles did not react to insulin and they could not draw insulin to their blood circulation system. More fat accumulated between the muscles. The group that had breakfast before sports also gained weight but this amount was equal to the half of the group that did no sports. They also had resistance to insulin and fat accumulated between the muscles. The group that had breakfast after the sports gained almost no weight and developed no resistance against insulin. It was observed that the fat that went into their body from the intaken food was burnt in a better way. Thus, having sports activities before breakfast was proved to be more effective against the undesirable effects of fatty and high calorie food.
